Translating Dynamic Content on Tilda: How Multify Works

Tilda websites often feature not only regular pages with texts and images, but also dynamic content — for example, a list of products, posts, or card descriptions that are loaded after the page loads. And this is where the difficulties begin.

🌀 What Is Dynamic Content?

In short: it's everything Tilda loads via its API after the page has rendered. For example:
🛒 Product catalog with prices and descriptions
📝 Blog post feed
💬 Reviews or client cards
Such elements do not "live" in the page's HTML structure but arrive separately — and therefore are not included in standard translation.

🚫 Why Doesn't This Work for Others?

Weglot, Linguise and similar services can only translate static content: texts on the page itself. But dynamic content breaks, because:
  • Requests to the Tilda API can only be made from the site's own domain
  • You cannot directly retrieve data from another subdomain (e.g., from ru.site.com to site.com)
  • Tilda protects its APIs from third-party domains (CORS blocking)
As a result, such services simply cannot get the data to translate it.

🧩 How Multify Solves This

Multify uses API request proxyingto bypass Tilda's limitations and still translate dynamic elements. How it works:
  1. Your site sends a request not directly to the Tilda API, but through Multify
  2. Multify makes this request to Tilda on its own behalf
  3. Translates the received data: product names, descriptions, post titles, prices
  4. Returns to your site the localized version of the content
This works on the fly — with every page load!
Example request:
/proxy/abc123/catalog/?projectid=... — /proxy-782874652c?url=https://feeds.tildacdn.com/api...

📈 Why This Is Important for Online Stores and Blogs

If you have:
  • A catalog with dozens of products
  • A multilingual blog
  • Posts or news loaded dynamically
...then without translating this content, the user simply won't understand what you offer. And therefore, won't buy.
With Multify on the website:
✅ Product cards are translated
✅ Prices are automatically converted
✅ All elements on the page are translated when forms are submitted
SEO remains correct (all pages are real, not duplicates)

🔍 Live Examples

Here's an example from genesis-print.comcan automatically convert currency. For example:
A similar blog, translated via Weglot or Linguise — will not translate the dynamic list of articles at all. It will simply leave it in Russian.

🌍 In Summary: What Multify Offers

  1. Full translation of dynamic content on the website — a unique feature, not provided by any other service
  2. Deep integration with Tilda: content, prices, structure, SEO
  3. Increased conversion, trust, and website visibility in other countries
